THE NATURE OF PLACER GOLD ORE DEPOSITS
When exposed to the earth’s surface, the gold-bearing geological bodies undergo weathering and fragmentation under atmospheric, biological, water and other natural factors to form gold particles and cuttings. Under natural transport, the densest particles accumulate on the hillside, riverbed, lake and seashore. When the gold in the sediment reaches the development and utilization standard, it becomes a gold ore deposit. According to the deposition location, the placer gold deposits can be divided into eluvial placer gold deposits, peregrine placer gold deposits, diluvial placer gold deposits, riverbed alluvial placer gold deposits, and littoral placer gold deposits. PLACER GOLD ORE DRESSING PROCESS
Arenaceous gold deposit is a deposit formed by sedimentation. Its mineral size composition is quite complex, and the primary ore can be separated and enriched only after certain treatment. Therefore, the conventional gold ore dressing process can be divided into two steps: preparation operation and dressing operation.
The preparation includes the BROKEN DOWN, GRADING, CLEANING and DESILTING of the gold ore.
BROKEN DOWN is the decomposition of the agglomerated ore grains into monomer particles so that the useful minerals in them can be separated.
GRADING is to remove some of the ore does not contain gold gravel, gangue. In this way, the processing capacity of subsequent sorting operation can be reduced.
Preparation is usually accomplished by adding water to a TROMMEL SCREEN.
PLACER GOLD BENEFICIATION OPERATION
In order to improve the recovery rate of gold and the comprehensive recovery of other heavy minerals, chute, agitator chute, centrifuge and other equipment can be used in rough sorting operation. The product produced by the rough sorting operation is heavy sand. After rough selection, the light minerals and gangue minerals in heavy sand are removed by shaking table, mercury mixing cylinder, magnetic separator, electric separator and other equipment.
